Getting there by tube
Ladbroke Grove station on the Hammersmith & City line is only a few minutes away from the Trust office and Portobello Green Fitness Club. Leave the station and cross the road at the lights in front of you, turn left under the bridge and then immediately after coming out from under the bridge turn right to take the pedestrianised path on your right (which is Thorpe Close). This runs alongside and below the Westway flyover. Walk ahead for a minute or so, past the 'Pepper Pot' building and you will see a bright purple door to 1 Thorpe Close on your right. Westway Development Trust is based here at number 1. The Portobello Green Fitness Club is just past it on the right at 3 to 5 Thorpe Close.
Getting there by bus
Buses 7, 23, 70, 52, 228 and 452 all stop under the bridges by Ladbroke Grove tube station. Walk slightly up the hill under the bridges and take the path to your right (Thorpe Close). Walk ahead for 2-3 minutes. Westway Development Trust is at 1 Thorpe Close and Portobello Green Fitness Club is just past it on the right. The 295 and 316 also stop very near to us.

Getting there by car from Central London
Drive west through Notting Hill Gate, as the road leaves the shops and begins to go down the hill, move into the right hand lane. Turn right at the lights into Ladbroke Grove (and the Mitre pub). The road goes up and down a hill. Continue under the combined railway/motorway bridge. Take the first right turning after the bridges into Cambridge Gardens. Almost immediately there is a narrow private lane which is the entrance to Thorpe Close.
Parking is not permitted at Thorpe Close during the day, but after 5pm you can park in Thorpe Close virtually outside the Club, this is also possible on Sundays all day. Disabled parking spaces are available – but on Saturdays this area is not accessible to cars due to the Market.
There are also a limited number of Pay & Display parking spaces in Cambridge Gardens but on Fridays and Saturdays they are usually full. All the nearby roads are designated for resident parking. The restrictions are lifted after 18:30 and on Sundays (but NOT Bank Holidays). Visitors with appointments at Westway Development Trust may obtain a visitors permit to park in Thorpe Close car park subject to availability.
