Manager Front of House Receptionist

Location: Portobello Green Fitness Centre
40 hours a week, £17,264 per annum
Hours will be worked on a shift system and will include weekends.

Purpose of job:
As Front of House Receptionist, you will provide a professional and friendly reception service and achieve sales income targets for the Club.

Main Areas of Accountability:
1.  Meet and greet all visitors
2.  Answer telephone calls, directing callers or taking messages as appropriate
3.  Maintain manual and computerised administrative systems including bookings, membership and general record keeping
4.  Maintain secure cash handling and reconciliation procedures
5.  Maintain all reception stocks and assist in achieving retail and vending financial targets
6.  Achieve individual and team sales targets and provide membership sales cover as        directed by the Front of House Manager, and comply with all sales and membership enquiry guidelines and procedures
7.  Ensure adequate supply of laundered towels for customer use
8.  Assist with membership promotion administration
9.  Work positively in accordance with the Trust’s Equal Opportunities Policy
10. Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Front of House Manager

The Club is a small, flexible organisation and the post holder will occasionally be required to help other staff in their duties.

Zero Hours Football Coach (level 2 qualification)

Location:  Westway Sports Centre
Pay:           £14 per hour + 12.7% AL

Exciting Football Coaching Opportunity at Westway Sports Centre

The football department currently provides a mixed programme. We deliver coaching sessions for children aged 4 – 15 years. The sessions vary from after schools clubs to advanced development programmes.

The football department is looking for an experienced Grassroots/Professional Academy or Centre of Excellence Coach to join this successful football programme. Max hours on offer are 12 hours per week with salary range £12.00 to £16.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Ability to work Saturdays is vital.

They will be required to coach children between the ages of 4-15 years and should be capable of creating a safe, enjoyable environment for their growth and development.
The ideal candidate will be looking to develop their football coaching skills. With a minimum of a level 2 FA qualification,  and experience at Grassroots coaching or professional youth teams –Academy or Centre of Excellence, they will be confident working both individually and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should be; passionate about their role, dedicated to child player development and with the ability to engage and improve players of all levels.

Zero Hours Climbing Instructor

Pay: £8.55 per hour, plus 12.7% holiday pay
        £9.65 per hour, plus 12.7% holiday pay after 60 hours per month

40 hour “Westway Climbing Instructor” training course (unpaid) provided for successful applicants

Westway Sports Centre is home to London's largest climbing centre. It hosts the most extensive programme of courses and training, the biggest and best coaching team and is acclaimed by the BMC as the country's leading centre for developing young climbers. 

Help us continue this success. You will help people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels develop their confidence through climbing, and will be responsible for promoting a safe climbing environment for experienced and novice climbers alike.
We require Instructors for weekend work, and afternoons/evenings during the week.  Instructors must be flexible.

Successful candidates will have a good command of the English language, effective communication skills.  Candidates must have relevant personal climbing experience, up to date knowledge of current climbing best practice and experience of teaching others.

Youth Development Coordinator/Climbing Instructor 

Location:  Westway Sports Centre
Salary:      £20,734 per annum
Hours:      40 hours per week (Hours will be worked on a shift system and will include weekends)

As the Youth Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating customers. You will help people within the age range of 5-18yrs old, backgrounds and experience levels develop their confidence through climbing, and will be responsible for promoting a safe climbing environment for experienced and novice climbers alike.
