Gheez Rite grew out of the needs of several communities who have heritage links to the Horn of Africa. It is now currently housed in the Kids on The Green (KOTG) Building on Latimer Road in North Kensington. It operates each Saturday during school term times, 36 weeks per year. The supplementary school runs from 10am-3pm and offers lessons in Tigrinya, English, Maths and Science. After the session there are leisure activities, football at Westway Sports Centre and dance/Zumba activities at KOTG. Celebration events take place at the end of each term and several trips are organised each summer.
