Reassessing our priorities
At the end of 2018 we conducted broad-ranging research in the local area – including extensive face-to-face interviews and workshops with local residents.
The research shows clearly the breadth of services and facilities provided across the area, shining a light on our vibrant and diverse community.
Six priority areas were identified that have been adopted as key areas of focus for Westway Trust. They are:
- Isolation
- Places for Young People
- Physical and Mental Wellbeing
- Economic Participation
- Arts and Culture
- Environment
These areas have been used as a lens through which we will look back at our year, and show where we will be making community investments in the future.
