Thank you for partnering with Westway to deliver your programme, event, installation or performance. We're excited to be working with you!

Our Communications & Marketing team would love to help you spread the word about your project. Please feel free to get in touch with our Head of Communications & Marketing Mat Bradley to discuss how we can help.

If you'll be creating your own promotional material, either as hard copy or online, please take a look at our guidelines below.

Logo

As a condition of receiving support from Westway Trust you are required to  include our logo on any advertising and other printed and digital materials about your project as well as on your website.

There are 6 versions of the logo available in the Trust’s corporate colours.  Any of these colours may be used. You can find these logos as both JPEG and PNG files in the gallery section on this web page.

Here are the basics:

  • You should place our logo in one corner of the page, preferably the bottom right corner, at least 10mm from the edge of the page.
  • Please leave at least 1cm (10mm) of blank space on all sides of the Westway Trust logo. This means there should be no other images, logos, lines or text in that space close to the logo.
  • Do not distort the dimensions of the logo. The file is square shape, so all sides of the logo file should be equal size.
  • You can resize our logo as long as you don’t distort it or change the colours and as long as it’s properly visible. On A5 or A4 publications this means it shouldn’t be smaller than 25mm across.

More information on the correct use of the Westway Trust logo is available on page 3-4 of the Westway Trust brand guidelines

Posters, flyers and adverts

You should make sure that our logo features on any posters or flyers and that if you’re talking about the background to your project you mention that it was supported by Westway Trust.

If the size of your advertisement makes it impossible to include our logo, you can include the following text instead – ‘Supported by Westway Trust

Websites and leaflets

You don’t need to include our logo on every page of your website but you should acknowledge our support when talking specifically about it and the logo should be visible along with other supporter’s logos and wherever else is appropriate.

Social Media

Westway Trust has an established social media audience locally and we like to promote the activity of those we support through our channels. The easiest way for us to do that is to include our social media usernames in what you post:

Twitter: @westwaytrust

Facebook: @westwaytrust

Instagram: @westway_trust

Media Releases

If you decide to send out a press release about your project, you should include the Westway Trust logo and include the following text in the notes at the bottom:

This project is supported by Westway Trust

Westway Trust is a charity committed to enhancing the 23 acres of space under the Westway flyover to benefit local people, making it a great environment to live, work, play and visit. We strive to harness the creativity, heritage and diversity of the area to maintain and improve the places and spaces we look after. Through good stewardship and collaboration with every part of the community Westway Trust helps this vibrant part of London to continue to thrive. We already receive more than one million visitors each year to the estate, and we want to expand the community, cultural, retail, sporting and enterprise opportunities here together with improvements to the public realm so that it is a place the community is proud and even more visitors can enjoy. www.westway.org

We know that your project and your organisation will have your own strong identity and we don’t want to interfere with that so if you think these guidelines will get in the way do let us know and we can agree an alternative way of acknowledging Westway Trust’s support.
